Past Artists in Residence
Becca Fuhrman
Becca Fuhrman (b. 1988, Boise, ID) is an interdisciplinary artist who specializes in multimedia large-scale paintings. Trained in art and architecture, her interests lie in understanding and illustrating personal narratives between people and place. Exploring what it’s like to be alive - the beauty and the perversion - is central to Fuhrman’s work. Capturing emotional landscapes, often centered around the female experience, water, and sexuality, she seeks to provoke curiosity in viewers.
Justin Hamacher
Justin Hamacher is a Cascadia based artist, musician, researcher and writer living in Portland Oregon. He maintains a small Jungian oriented analysis practice in Portland. His residency at Rambler Arts has involved exploring the tidelands and forests and observing animals and plants in their natural setting, sparking imagination around what their metaphorical energies may be. These observations and drawings form the songs and fables told in his bicycle based crankie theater project The Tidelands Traveling Theater.
