Plein Air Workshops

This August join us for a Plein Air Workshop Series in Indianola, WA led by local artist, Nadja Peschke. This three course series is designed to help amateurs and experienced painters capture the unique compilation of how the seascape meets the mountainous views at the Indianola Beach. Each session is 2 hours and will take place at a different time of day to help artists capture various light and shadow explorations. Participants will come away with a refreshed watercolor technique and sense of capturing a scene in 20 minutes or less.

Nadja Peschke is a plein air watercolor painter with a BA in Fine Arts based in Indianola, WA. Nadja is a working artist, freelance instructor and professional sourdough baker. Her practice of watercolor journaling solidified on her travels in the arctic of northern Norway where she chased the summer daylight into winter aurora borealis with her painting palette and brush for four months. She recently completed a plein air commission of the Olympic Mountain Range and has found Indianola to be her favorite place to compile plein air studies. https://www.nadjapeschke.com/
